Originally developed for an employer to determine payroll, timesheets are an important factor in a number of different tasks in the day to day operation of your business.
Payroll, client billing and increasingly project costing, estimation, tracking and management rely on data taken from timesheets.
Tensor's WinTA time and attendance systems have greatly improved the process of collecting and analyzing timesheet data, and the introduction of electronic clocking in machines combined with smart card technology has improved efficiency whilst lowering costs.
Tensor WinTA Lite is a Windows™ based time and attendance system. It is designed for smaller companies, and it is capable of linking to our Access Lite application.
WinTA Lite comprises of a T8440 clocking station, and can record employee information for up to 250 people.
The time and attendance software is simple to use, and is an extremely easy and effective way of collecting clocking data ensuring compliance with both federal and state regulations.
Tensor WinTA Enterprise is the multi-user version of WinTA Lite. It is intended for larger companies and is a companion to our Access Enterprise application.
WinTA Enterprise can store up to 2000 employees on a single time and attendance clock, to which extra scanners may be attached for access control, job booking, and job costing.
A sophisticated standalone application, when combined with a Tensor access control or personnel management system, it becomes an extremely powerful operating tool.
We have a selection of smart cards that can operate your Tensor System.
Our most popular smart card is the T1305. It is approximately the same size as a standard credit card, and is thin and flexible enough to be carried in your wallet.
Renowned for being robust, a Tensor smart card can be read in under ¼ second even if it is covered in oil and grease.
Key Fobs
We have a selection of key fobs that can operate your Tensor System.
Fobs are about the same size as a standard key fob, and have their own printed external number for cross-referencing.
Since the tags are smaller, they have a correspondingly smaller read range than a smart card, but can still be scanned in under ¼ second.
Employees simply use their smart card at a clocking in machine, and the information is automatically analyzed by the timesheet analysis software, and presented back to you in the format you require. Complex calculations are performed almost instantly, potentially saving you hundreds of man-hours.
By analyzing the information stored on your timesheets, you are able to significantly lower costs to your company. Payroll processing will be more efficient, costs are more visible so you can lower them, and your billing and invoicing will be automated.
Timesheets can also be used to build a body of knowledge about how much effort tasks take to develop. For example if developing a training plan has historically taken a month, then it can be assumed that creating a new one will take a month. In addition, the WinTA timesheet software has the ability to track resource costs and project expenses to allow for better future budgeting.
