Tensor's range of high speed time clocks are used to operate your time and attendance systems.
A consistent read range is achieved by using well-proven and reliable RF (Radio Frequency) reading technology to operate your time clock. This ensures that the time clock remains extremely reliable and is unaffected by most external conditions.
Contact less smart cards or key fobs are used to clock in and out. These sophisticated devices can be read in under ¼ second, and ensure that a clocking in machine from Tensor is at the forefront of clocking solutions.
The T25xx range of time clocks are designed specifically to cope with the harshest of physical environments.
When optionally encased in stainless steel, they conform to the IP65 standard, allowing the clock to be situated outside, without the need for further protection.
This time clock is ideally suited for factory or office environments.
The T8440 is a new range of time clock especially designed to operate with the new generation of Tensor software.
The preformed clocking case is available in black or beige and can be combined with fingerprint recognition capabilities, with the simple addition of a T1582 scanner.
This time clock is particularly suitable for any office or reception area.
How The Time Clocks Work
Each time clock transmits a 125 KHz frequency field (the electromagnetic field), which is picked up by an aerial in your smart card or key fob. The time clock has two read bands within this field; an inner and outer band, and these are controlled and rapidly oscillated by the on-board microprocessor.
As a smart card or key fob enters the electromagnetic field emitted by the time clock, it is automatically activated by the field's energy, and the content of the chip is read.
Your Time Clock Network
From a simple network consisting of a single time clock, your time and attendance network can be easily expanded to incorporate additional clocks and other network devices such as scanners and attendance monitors.
Tensor's range of time clocks are compatible with the following time and attendance solutions:
