T2002 Access Control System
The T2002 is an important addition to the range of Tensor access control products. It has been designed and manufactured by Tensor in the US with the aim of providing simple door access control.
Simple to programme, operate and maintain, the T2002 has connections for up to 2 T1481 smart card scanners, and operates as a "stand-alone" access control system.
Smart card scanners can be placed behind doors or even within some brick walls, making them ideal for low profile applications, and providing better protection against damage. It is ideal for use anywhere where there is a requirement for tough and durable control of doors and releases.

The T2002 access control system is operated by contact less smart cards, and can record employee details for up to 250 people, determining who can operate associated electronic door locks or releases.
The proximity read method of the smart cards means that you can open up to two electronic door locks or releases in a fraction of a second simply by presenting your smart card to the scanner. Each T2002 access control system comes complete with 50 smart cards.
The T2002 is compliant with Tensor's WinTA Lite time and attendance application, making future expansion to an integrated time & attendance and access control system possible with a small change to the door access control software in the T2002 Access Control Unit.
The system is not compatible with Access Lite or Access Enterprise software.
