Access Lite Access Control System

access control Access Lite is the latest in the Tensor range of Windows™ based access control products, from simple door and registration point control, through to a fully computerized global networked access control system.

With Access Lite and the T1481 smart card scanners, you can control most standard types of internal and external electronic, magnetic door releases and devices.

In addition, you can make full use of location points, whether in full view or hidden out of sight, providing access even in the most adverse conditions.

A variety of access control equipment, devices and releases can be connected via the T8424 scanner control unit including:

  • alarms and hooters
  • break glass buttons
  • door locks
  • door release buttons
  • electro-magnetic door locks
  • scanners

Doors can be configured to open on fire alarms and lock on burglar alarms.

The scanner controller is the unit to which all access control equipment within your Access Lite network is connected. A T8440 clocking station can have up to twelve T8424 scanner controllers attached to it.

Each T8424 scanner controller can have combinations of up to two smart card scanners giving you full control over who is allowed access through any controlled point at any time of day.

Sensitive or dangerous areas can easily be denied to those who do not have the appropriate security clearance.

Access Lite can operate a maximum of four clocking stations and record employee details for up to 250 people.

This edition can also link to your WinTA Lite time and attendance application, where it is able to efficiently share employee data.

Your access control network can consist of one or more clocks, and is connected to a main server PC either via the PC's standard serial port or an Ethernet network adapter.

Tensor smart cards and key fobs can be used to operate your access control system.

The proximity read method of the smart cards and key fobs means that they will never wear out.

In addition, any dust and residue picked up from the working environment presents no risk of clogging the reader.

Access Control Profiles easily created or customised to suit your particular site, and can be varied minute-by-minute

Audit Trail showing who gained access (or denied) at any location at any time

Door/Barrier Access can be limited depending on the persons' roll call status

Anti Pass Back facility limits the same card being used by more than one person

Real Time (near) graphical display shows doors being opened / closed, those with alarm status set and forced entry

Doors may be configured to open automatically on fire alarms and lock automatically on burglar alarms

Sensor Monitoring to detect forced entry

Resilient System keeps running even when certain cables are cut or damaged or PC networks fail

Installation and Training
