The T8424 scanner controller is the unit to which all access control equipment within your network is connected.

You can control most standard types of internal and external electro-magnetic door releases, providing access from either visible or hidden smart card scanners.

Door access can be limited depending on the person's roll call status, and can be set to open on fire alarms and lock on burglar alarms.

Each T8424 scanner controller can have combinations of up to two access scanners giving you full control over who is allowed access through any controlled point at any time of day.

Sensitive or dangerous areas can easily be denied to those who do not have the appropriate security clearance.

Access Enterprise can consist of one or more clocking machines, and record employee details for an unlimited number of people.

This edition can operate a maximum of 372 smart card scanners and can link to your WinTA Enterprise time and attendance application, where it is able to efficiently share employee data.

Your access control network can consist of one or more clocks, and is connected to a main server PC either via the PC's standard serial port or an Ethernet network adapter.

Tensor smart cards and key fobs can be used to operate your access control system.

The proximity read method of the smart cards and key fobs means that they will never wear out.

In addition, any dust and residue picked up from the working environment presents no risk of clogging the reader.
